
Meet Your Special Event Boot Camp (SEBC) First Sergeant
Carol Moxam is one out of the 12 Canadians who is a Certified Special Events Professional. Since 1994, she has been the founder and president of Event Edge. She was the past president of International Special Events Society (ISES) – an international organization of special events professionals who are dedicated and educated to deliver creative evidence and professionalism in Special Events. Carol has won awards including the “Best Theme Décor Under $10,000” and Leadership Award with International Special Events Society Toronto. More importantly, Carol is a determined, entrepreneurial, and her belief in people and their abilities has gotten her thus far from where she started.
Meet Some of your Boot Camp Drill Sergeants
A new army has formed within SEBC, known as Drill Sergeants – event professionals who are keen on sharing with you their professional expertise in the most efficient way.
Martin Rubio has led key roles in sales, marketing and communications across U.S., Canada, Europe and South America. He launched VROOMmedia – a media and marketing agency based in Toronto, and is currently the Vice President of Marketing.
Jaye Marsh Graham produced Canada’s first Eco Wedding & Lifestyle Show in Toronto.
Cindy Johnson is the founder and principal event planner of Platinum Events Group and a “can-fit-pro” certified fitness instructor specialist. She has also appeared on several television and radio talk shows such as Toronto’s CityTV Breakfast Television and Z103.5 radio statin.
Leslee Bell founded Décor and More Inc, an organization that is now the largest and most awarded décor and design company in Canada. Leslee was also awarded the first “Spirit of the Industry” award by the Canadian Special Events Industry.
Simon Rayment is the president of Pandor Productions, and she is an experienced professional specializing in all aspects of technical production
Andrew Horberry is the Director of Strategy for Imagination – a global designer of brand experiences for blue-chip clients. In addition, Andrew holds an MBA from London Business School and is qualified as a Certified Meeting Professional.
Scott Kress is the president and founder of Summit Training & Development Ltd. He is also the president of Frontier Group.
Suzanne Merrett is part of Toronto’s first team of professional photographers and were the first studio to switch to all digital photography. She launched the corporate division Amara Studios.
Tracey Manailescu co-founded The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada, she is also the co-producer of the Professional Wedding Planners Conference. Tracey has appeared on several television programs and has been quoted in all of the major newspapers across Canada.
Danielle Andrews Sunkel is the co-founder of the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and the owner of The Wedding Planners – Canada’s largest wedding coordination firm.
