Special Event Boot Camp, taking place on August 10th and 11th at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto will welcome a number of young professionals and introduce them to the world of event planning. Led by the founder – Carol Moxam, one of Canada’s twelve Certified Special Event Professionals, these young will undergo two days of vigorous training, learning, practicing, and mastering the intelligence of the special events industry. Special Event Boot Camp will focus on bringing its members a team oriented growth that is professional and at the same time demonstrating the values like: awareness, choice, fun, and courage.

The focus of SEBC is to: Engage, Educate, and Elevate its participants. SEBC looks to engage all attendees in meaningful and intriguing conversations and activities with their brother in arms. This will provide as an amazing networking opportunity for anyone that attends SEBC, not to mention the wonderful honour to meet and learn from one of twelve Certified Special Event Professionals in Canada – Carol Moxam. To educate means to learn, and there’s more than one way to learn. SEBC will provide you with many different hands on challenges and special guest appearances so that you won’t have to go back to the terribly boring textbooks in those university years. So no matter what kind of learning environment you prefer, SEBC has got it all, and there’s no doubt that it would be an amazing learning opportunity for anyone alike. As Nicole H., from First Hand Events describe her past experience with SEBC – "Before I attack the 158 e-mails sitting in my in-box, I wanted to take a moment to thank-you so much for dreaming up and facilitating the experience of Special Event Boot Camp. I feel so blessed to have met the amazing people I did and learn from their experience and expertise. I feel like I now have a ‘human tool box’ of amazing, enthusiastic and trustworthy resources I can call upon when I need them. Thank-you for opening my eyes to new possibilities and for sharing your courage and passion. You are an inspiration!" And ultimately, the final focus of SEBC is to elevate all of the participants and introduce them to a brand new level knowledge to achieve business goals. With this clear outline of what SEBC wants to bring to all the participants, who could refuse this wonderful opportunity?
